Overview

This mid-range BEST WESTERN PLUS is the only one located in downtown Ottawa and offers complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, fitness center, sauna and laundry facilities. The 123 guestrooms offer a variety of configurations, including Two Double, Deluxe One Bedroom Queen with a sofa bed, or spacious Executive One-Bedroom King Suite with a sofa bed. All rooms include a kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, sink, cookware/dishware and coffee/tea maker. Kids ages 16 and under stay free, and free cribs and connecting rooms are available. Parking is available for an extra fee. Spend the day exploring Parliament Hill and Elgin Street, the Rideau Canal and Canadian Museum of Nature. Other attractions include Hop-on Hop-off Bus tours, two-hour city bike tours, and for kids who like spooky fun, the Great Ghost Family Adventure at the small, historic Bytown Museum. Or take in the Canadian Parliament Hill and buildings since Ottawa is the country’s capitol.

Nice stay; excellent service

I went in Ottawa to attend a summit and I stayed at Best Western Plus Ottawa Downtown Suites for 4 nights. The room was immaculate. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfasts (which were included) were of good quality and varied. The place was quiet and well soundproofed. The staff was attentive, friendly and really helpful. A convenience store service was available at the front desk and restaurants are easily accessible nearby (walking distance). I don't have any problem to speak English, but it could be appreciated if we could be served in French also.

This hotel is one of our favourites to stay at in Ottawa, 1 - because it is so close to the University and second because of the friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast and ease of check in and check out. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
