Overview

The Best Western Zion Park Inn is located along the main road in town, Zion Park Boulevard, with easy access to the Zion Canyon Shuttle. This is the only accommodation in Springdale that is a major international hotel chain, but the inn has been designed to reflect the park’s natural surroundings (think tasteful natural wood furnishings), and it has charming log-cabin ambiance. The Best Western has laundry facilities; an onsite restaurant; a heated outdoor pool with smaller kids’ pool and hot tub; and areas for outdoor sports including a putting green, a basketball court, a horseshoe pit and more. Suites with small in-room kitchens are available. Kids ages 17 and under stay free.

Noisy night, stinky morning

by timetravellers1010

By far the worst stay during our ten day trip. The hotel has a big hall where they serve breakfast with a cathedral-like ceiling. If you have the bad luck to get a room adjacent to this space you are guaranteed a sleepless night and a stinky morning. You'll hear everything as if your bed was in the breakfast area. In addition, if your room has windows facing the street close to the entrance area you are in for an extra treat.
This is how our night looked like:
In the evening there was a group of people congregated in the breakfast area laughing and yelling until midnight, literally I could hear everything as if they were in my room. Shortly after midnight they went to sleep and so did I, or I thought so.
At four am, a huge delivery truck stopped at the main entrance, engine idling until they unloaded some stuff for about 20 minutes that seemed like an eternity. Neither the truck driver nor the hotel staff care to think that there are people sleeping in the hotel.
At six am, the room filled with a strong smell of bacon, sign that the breakfast is about to be served The smell stayed in our room until 9am.
At 6:30 am, the breakfast hall filled with people some of which were quite loud, so I
renounced any intention of sleeping in.
And as if this was not enough, the mindful hotel staff has installed a pair of loudspeakers above the hotel entrance (which incidentally was right under my window) where they play music continuously, day and night, especially night. I could hear this music from my room, repetitive, on and on all night.
This is totally unacceptable.
