Nice hotel

by Kevin D

Stayed here and got the service I expected. Lovely area and great staff. Hotel is ideally situated and clean, modern and what you expect from Marriott. Do expect to pay the higher rates for the stay, but it is worth it

Late Check In

by Fendog

I've wanted to stay at the Long Wharf Marriott for many years but we always ended up at the Parker House, at the Langham, etc. This year we decided to succumb to nostalgia and made a reservation at the Long Wharf. We requested an early check-in (3). Normal check in time is 4. We arrived around 3:45. Our room was not ready until 5. Had the staff at Waterline not been top notch and sympathetic, we probably would have left for another hotel. Come to find out that the reason for the delay was that guests from the prior night were offered a late check out. That's fine if the room isn't committed for the next day but not at my expense.

The room was comfortable and nicely furnished but the service experience was not great. We will return to waterline though. Our server was an friendly and funny older gentlemen and the only reason we stayed. But this was definitely a one and done experience.
