The Boulder Adventure Lodge has renovated the historic building on its property, transforming into the front desk, community room and saloon. The community room has a large sitting area, a wood burning fireplace and a beer garden patio. Lodge rooms include bunk rooms, queens, and even cabins for rent. There’s a hot tub and also a pool. This is an adventure-loving family’s paradise. The Lodge even helps coordinate outdoor activity.

Stayed here for 1 night to have a inexpensive anniversary and hiking trip. Quaint older hotel with lots of history. Nice firm bed, clean room. Bathrooms are small but work. Waffle and cereal breakfast plus and wine and beer bar for evenings. Live music on weekends. Outside of Boulder and tucked away in the mountains yet... close enough to get pizza delivered. The mountains surrounding it are the big draw!!! Lots to hike, climb and just road trip. Make sure you take time to relax in a hammock before you adventure out. Then drive to Nederland and take the peak to peak highway to Estes Park!
I stayed here in 2016 and 2017. The property was a fixer-upper, rustic motel that had rustic prices. It’s 2019 and it’s still rustic. The only difference is I was now paying $185 a night.
It was charming before. It is not worth the price they are asking for now when there are so many issues such as linoleum peeling up and rusty door locks that take forever to open.
