Overview

This affordable hotel offers comfortable standard rooms in a great location between the small boat harbor and Benson Memorial Park. Recently remodeled rooms can include two queen beds and a rollaway, along with refrigerator, microwave and air conditioning. There’s no free breakfast, but the onsite restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Parents will enjoy the sports lounge, which features Alaska craft beers.

The hotel is next to the harbor, less than a mile from the heart of historic downtown Seward. If you like seafood restaurants, you’re in luck because The Breeze Inn is literally surrounded by them. You won’t have to go far to get your king crab fix. Kids will enjoy the Alaska Sealife Center, the state’s biggest and best aquarium, which is five minutes from your hotel. Seward is a starting point for day trips to Kenai Fjords National Park, nearby glaciers and prime fishing spots. You’ll easily find established tour operators and fishing charters on the waterfront. In fact, the Kenai Fjords Tours office is directly across the street from the hotel and can answer most of your travel questions. For its prime harbor location and affordable rates, The Breeze Inn is a great family choice for your Alaska adventure.

Lousy service

by NZMoyer

This place is upwards of $200 a night even in the non refurbished section with exterior doors to you room. The room was clean however. Bathroom small. Just a place to lay your head, so that part was ok. It was right across from Major Marine tours where we needed to be early the next morning so that’s why we chose it. The woman who works the front desk should be fired. We were there two nights and each morning went looking for coffee because they advertise availability until 10. In both cases the urn was either empty or missing. Both times it was either 9 AM or earlier. The woman working the desk said one morning that she was simply too busy to make more. The next morning she just said “we ran out”. And we were told this in a not so nice way, like we were asking her for too much. Don’t promise coffee til 10 if you are only going to provide it until it runs out with no plans to make more.

A place to sleep.

We stayed in the old part with doorway to outside right from room. No microwave, iron or ironing board. Was close to tours and port. The service and staff was good though the room was'nt ready by 3p.m. They have a restaurant on site though we did't eat there. Good place to sleep.
