Opinion kept declining over course if stay

by grits_are_good

Biggest complaint and why I would most likely not stay again is that it sounded like the people above us were coming through the ceiling EVERY TIME THEY MOVED. When housekeeping vacuumed it was so crazy loud. Also cleaning staff tied up the only elevator at check out time. Poor planning and we had to wait several trips to finally get on. And they were all laughing about it. Hubs in a boot so no choice.

We were upgraded to a suite with a separate bedroom but were told the bedroom bed would be a king. It is barely a Queen and the bed is super hard.

The pull out sofa is less than desirable looking and they did leave with promised rollaway twin for our 16-year-old. It also was not appealing looking.

The room itself is clean and a good set up for us to hangout as a family while visiting our Bama freshman. The towels look high end but are still very rough like cheap hotel towels. Would be nice to have a place to hang a hand towel. Not a great place to hang any towels really and you have to change them out at the front desk.

Issues much harder to swallow since we were paying homecoming prices but I get that is a fact of life.

Tried to talk to Kim at check out but was brushed off. For what we paid this was ridiculous.

Great place BUT beware of charges!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place...CLEAN rooms, great service, friendly staff and pet friendly BUT please be aware and read all of the detailed charges! The price I was under the impression of being charged (email confirmation a little over $200) was NOT the actual amount I ended up being charged when our trip was over.
FYI... While they are pet friendly they charge $75 PER PET/PER NIGHT!!!
