Overview

At the very southern tip of Eleuthera’s main island, this resort and full-service marina has a castaway feel that appeals to escapees and sporting types. You can rent bikes, golf carts, snorkeling and fishing gear, kayaks, and paddleboards.

Sunset Beach has a fireplace, rope swings, and lots of seclusion. The resort’s restaurant and bar overlook the beach and the swimming pool and serves kids grilled cheese sandwiches, pasta, and other favorites.

For families, the best accommodations are the two-level villas, which sleep up to six and boast full kitchens, washers and dryers, patios and balconies. Besides the beach, the sprawling property gives families lots of space. After dark, look forward to bonfires and S’mores.

Lovely island and superb accomodations

by Jeanne L

Beautiful quiet island and superb accommodations here. Stayed in both a cottage and a villa. Both were great. The cottages were quieter, with a lovely outside area overlooking a channel. A family of 4 (with 2 young children) would be fine. Kitchenette has microwave and small fridge. Bedroom has king bed and great bathroom. Move to a villa for a couple of days as we extended our trip. Unbelievable place! Huge deck with dining and sitting area overlooking active dock. Two full bedrooms and two baths, with fully equipped kitchen. A bit noisy at times for our taste, but a great value for two couples. Restaurant and pool were quite good, too.

Beautiful

Beautiful marina. Everyone is so friendly. Great marina store! Beach is super nice for shelling! There’s a great place to snorkel. You can see nurse sharks in the marina at different times of the day. Such a cool place!
