Great value, great hotel location for planned activities, great breakfast! Although hotel was not full, for whatever reason, I was given an upstairs room. On my previous stay in July, my room was on first floor near pool and much more convenient. For future stays, I will request first floor. Also, the smoke alarm sounded at 2 AM (do not smoke & did not turn heater on)--was able to silence it by fanning air in front of it! Hopefully the smoke detectors in all rooms are regularly checked to avoid this disturbance.

The Carmel Inn and Suites is cozy, comfortable, and elegant! Our room was large and soooo quiet! We did not hear a single sound during our stay! But the very best thing is their amazing staff! Making reservations with Janet was like catching up with an old friend. The sweet lady at the breakfast buffet was so nice; like she was serving her own family. The desk clerks when we checked in and left were friendly and helpful. Carmel Inn is a home away from home and we definitely will be back! Thank y’all so much!
