Had a to be in Charlotte for the week. Arrived on Sunday night. Check in was easy and staff was polite. Got site 86 right behind office. It was close to bathrooms, laundry and office. RV section I was in (behind office) was empty. The theme park was closed Mon., Tue. & Wed. which explained the emptiness. There are also cabins which looked nice but didn't go in one. Site was almost level and pull through. Just enough room for 26 foot trailer and tow vehicle. Cement pad and picnic table helped keep trailer clean. Charcoal grill on site which I didn't use. Bathrooms were clean and well lit. There was a laundry room as well. This campsite is right next to Carowinds theme park. There is a shuttle to the park. There was also a pool that looked nice but didn't use it. Doesn't seem like there were lifeguards but not sure. There is some occasional airplane traffic as it's near the airport. Hardly noticeable though. Power was stable and water pressure was good. If you have kids and an RV, this would be awesome. Very close to Charlotte.
We were only here overnight after a long stressful driving day. Easy to find, spacious paved sites, and the bathrooms were great! Would return . Pets welcome. Would love to check out the amusement park.
