TripAdvisor Rating

Each of this boutique resort’s 19 units boasts its own décor and character, ranging from rooms and one-bedroom suites to cottages — all with kitchen facilities. Most of the accommodations are beachside, although a few are on the other side of Gulf Drive. Most sleep four; one cottage sleeps six. The complex feels like a little community, with affable hosts and guests who usually get to know one another at cocktail hour in the little tiki shack. Hammocks, swinging benches, and a tub of beach toys keep the focus on the beach. The message here: “zero stress, 100 percent relaxation.”

Cedar Cove Cottages - absolute paradise

by Dawnio67

What an an absolute treat to stay here. We stayed in Key Lime Cottage which was a first floor apartment with two bedrooms., a large living space with kitchen and two bathrooms. The cottage was so lovely with lots of space. It had a nice veranda on the front to sit out and a huge jacuzzi bath. It was very comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect - not too hot, not too cold - just right! The main bed was lovely and big and very comfortable. My son seemed quite happy in the twin room too. There were so many cupboards, you would never be short of storage. There are island trolley stops for going up and down the island really close by. We loved that it was a really safe road to cross (most people seem to stop to stop their cars to let you cross!) and then within steps you are right on the beach. There are free sun beds that you can just pull down the beach and use (as long as you remember to put them back afterwards so as not to harm the turtles). The beach here was so chilled, so much space and has the most beautiful warm sea. We enjoyed having a glass of wine to end the night, sat on the sand, looking at the stars, listening to the waves and desperately hoping to see some turtles hatch out of eggs (we weren’t lucky this time!). Eric and the other staff are so helpful and strike a perfect balance of giving you lots of space while being very available to offer any help or advice as needed. This is our little slice of heaven and we will definitely be back, Hopefully as soon as we can. But ssshh, don’t tell anyone! We want it to stay as perfect as it is and be available when we are lucky enough to return!

Great Location! We have stayed at many locations in Florida and this has been or absolute favorite. The hotel was really nice with just the right amount of amenities. Eric and Dianne were fabulous and made us feel at home as soon as we got there until the time we left. The beach was great without the overwhelming crowds of other places. The only bad thing I would have to say is that we thought they had a tiki bar and they do, only it is just a tiki bar that you can sit in with your own drinks.
