Just stayed for the second time at the Chambers Hotel in NYC. It is a boutique hotel without the attitude. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are quite spacious for New York and modern in design. And I love the Red Flower bath products. Almost worth the cost of the room, lol. Finally, you can't beat the location. It is close to everything - 5th Avenue, Times Square and subways to downtown.
We really wanted to stay at the Whitby across the street but the prices were outrageous. So the next best thing was the hotel across the street--the Chambers. The rooms were perfectly fine. There really was NOT a bar (so if you want to bring a drink upstairs, that won't work) and the breakfast is very continental--but you could always have lots of breakfasts at the Whitby with what you save at the Chambers!
