TripAdvisor Rating

This is one of the most iconic and gorgeous guest lodging options in Boulder. Located at the foot of the iconic Flatirons, the Colorado Chautauqua has been up and running since 1898. Originally visitors stayed in canvas tents, which have been replaced by 58 cozy cottages and two lodges with no two alike. Cottages are available in studio, one, two or three bedroom configurations, each with fully equipped kitchens and screened-in front porches. Note that all accommodations are television and phone-free to allow guests to relax and unplug. All accommodations, the park and surrounding open space are smoke-free. There are also a ton of things to walk to from the cottages, including dining, cultural events, hiking trails, tennis courts, a playhouse, downtown Boulder and more.

Beyond Expectations!!!

by P2Nando

This had to have been our best stay at any place! We definitely have found our yearly family trip!!! Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! It will not disappoint!! The cosy feel, the beautiful view... EVERYTHING!! This was technically our “Denver” trip, but we where so glad to have stayed in Boulder instead! We will be back in a years time!!!

I love this place!!

We live in Boulder but decided to stay at Chautauqua for a couple of nights as doing this has been on my bucket list since the 70’s. The experience did not disappoint. Waking up in this environment is just wonderful. The cottage was charming, warm and inviting. We hiked right out our back door and soaked up all the beauty and majesty of the Flatirons. We decided to make this an annual event.
