Overview

As you walk the paths among the thatched bamboo-roofed villas, catching glimpses of the beach and ocean, you’ll have no doubt you’re in the tropical paradise known as the Club Cascadas de Baja. Throughout the property, you’ll find two swimming pools, tennis courts and the beach, complete with palapas, umbrellas, chairs and towels. The kids will love the activities at the kids’ club, while the parents will love the spa and such activities as cooking and Spanish classes. For more adventure, the hotel can assist you in booking water sports, deep sea fishing charters and tours to the area’s cultural sites. Enjoy a meal at the beachfront restaurant, or have a snack at the coffee house. Guest accommodations include 113 villas with one, two, three or four bedrooms; each villa has a full kitchen, air conditioning, ceiling fans, hairdryers and in-room safe.

Most amazing place I have ever been.

by Jennifer O

I first came to Ocho Cascadas in the 80's and stayed 4-5 times. I was so amazed by this architectural wonder. Ocho Cascadas was featured in Architecture Digest built by Ed Giddings. Ed Giddings does not create "rooms" he creates spaces. I believe that is a quote from his wife Patricia. This is so true. Ever detail is carefully thought out. Ocho Cascadas - Eight Waterfalls - is exactly that - it is built on a mountain side overlooking the ocean - each villa is a step on a staircase. Each villa is open to the ocean - balconies with plants and flowers hanging down. Showers carved out of the mountain and created from natural stone and tiles, many open to the ocean. Beds that are so comfortable. Daily maid service, the ability to hire a chef to cook your meals - better food than you can eat anywhere. An easy stroll down to the beach. Sit at quaint beach front restaurants and enjoy the ocean while sipping tequila, beer or wine. A vacation in paradise!!! You will never regret coming to Ocho!!!
