Reviews

Beautiful resort and wonderful hikes but dangerous bathtubs and little considerations about customer comments

by Yann B

Positives:
- Absolutely wonderful location with a breathtaking view on the Alps.
- We went several times on the hikes organized by the resort and they were wonderful. Thanks to Benjamin (Guide de France) who taught us survival skills (making fire, purifying water) and also gave a great session on bee hives.
- Great food!

Minuses:
- The internet is nearly unusable: super slow, no Dropbox, no Youtube, no Wechat call, etc. Don't even think about getting some work done from the resort. The resort even had a 16 hours internet outage (the fault on Orange).
- Bathtubs are extremely slippery and poorly designed. Last year, we had warned them about how slippery and hard it is to get out of the bathtub (no handle and you're blocked by a glass "curtain") and they said they would do something about it. This year, nothing was improved and one person of our group slipped in the bathtub and had to walk with a cane for the 7 days of our stay, wasting her stay. After asking 4 times, we finally got an anti-slippery mat in the bathtub for that person. The week before, one person broke her ribs slipping in the bathtub. We reported the problems and just got basic answers that they will improve for next time. Obviously, adding anti-slippery mat to every room wouldn't cost much compared to the safety of their customers. We didn't get any apologies from the Chef de Village and any explanations why we had to request 4 times for a mat.

A holiday beyond my wildest dreams.

I can only say great things about our holiday, everything was excellent! The weather, our room, the entertainment & activities, the skiing, the food and the staff were amazing. The experience was above my expectations! Thank you!
