I stayed there May 4th. Hotel was clean, over all it was a pleasant stay. However, I left an item there and when I called to get them to ship it, they charge you. First hotel I’ve ever seen do that. On top of that, they just take your credit card information without informing you a price from UPS. Since I was having them ship a baby bib, I assumed it would be 5-6$. Turns out it was 16.95$. When I called to inquire about the price at the Cody, Rachelle told me to call the UPS store. Turns out the UPS store charged me to pick up the bib, package it, and send it. That’s all fine and good, but no one at the hotel informed me that all of this would be tacked on. And of course no one at the hotel or UPS store wanted to take the blame for this lack of communication. When I called Rachelle back to let her know what the extra cost was for and to encourage her to inform her hotel staff to better inform customers in a similar predicament later, she basically brushed me off, told me she couldn’t control UPS prices and refused to acknowledge what I was saying. If I had know it would cost 17$ I would not have had this 3$ bib shipped. All this to say, don’t leave anything there. Also, the hotel itemizes everything and they aren’t trying to do you any favors. I wouldn’t stay again.

I highly recommend the Hemingway room. Very comfortable bed, lots of space and still a really cool vibe. The staff are friendly and will suggest good places to eat nearby. ... Careful with the really neat claw foot tub... My short girlfriend nearly clobbered herself getting out because of the high sides and the step down. Use the hand rail, even if it makes you feel old! That's what it's there for.
