Overview

The Comfort Inn in Fort Worth is located in the Fossil Creek area of the city, with easy access to Fort Worth’s top attractions, such as Six Flags Over Texas, the Fort Worth Zoo, the historic district, and more. The hotel features everything a family needs for a comfortable stay (so, yes, the name is accurate!). Start your day with a delicious, free breakfast, which goes beyond the basic items to include hot foods like fresh omelettes (yes, made with real eggs!), Texas-shaped waffles, biscuits and gravy, and much more. Plus, free coffee and fresh fruit are available 24 hours a day in the lobby. On weekday evenings, you’ll find fresh cookies and popcorn there as well…and to top it off, Wednesdays bring a manager’s reception featuring food and drink samples from area restaurants.

Families will enjoy the two-queen suite, which adds a one-person sofa bed so families have extra sleeping space or just a spacious living area to hang out in. It’s conveniently equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and free wireless Internet. In case you need to do some mid-trip washing, guest laundry facilities are available.

Finally, the amenity that your kids will ask about: there is a heated indoor salt water pool, so you can swim all year round — and parents, there’s a hot tub too.

No security

by SherylBoen

I gave this place to stars because I had a clean room, the breakfast was good, and staff was very friendly.

Late in the evening of our 2nd night a group of teenagers came to my door and began tapping, knocking, laughing and playing at the door. I called the service desk for help and ask if they would ask them to move. 10 minutes later I called again, the lady at the service desk told me that someone had finally arrived to help her. She explained that the teenagers at the door were on the wrong floor. About 15 minutes later 2 more teenagers came to my door knocking. I'm not usually a person who is afraid, however, I was afraid. This hotel needed better security.
I've stayed with choice hotels for many years. And have been a member for many years but as of last Saturday night they blackballed me. I no longer have access to my account. I guess this is what happens when you speak out about a problem at ths hotel.

Disappointed. Terrible Wi-Fi. Soft bed. Noise.

We stayed here on 10/19/19 in Room 319. On the plus side, check-in went smoothly and the room was clean and up-to-date. Three negatives: 1. Wi-Fi almost non-existent. And when I did get on, it dropped me. 2. Skimpy pillows and a too-soft bed. 3. Noise - woken up at 5:30 by the sounds of neighboring guests taking showers.

We generally like the Comfort Inn chain, but this one disappointed us.
