Ok Hotel

by NC2264

Stayed here for a weekend. Hotel is in walking distance to many restaurants and the beach. Rooms were OK clean with plenty of towels in bathroom. Would have been nice to have a balcony instead of the locked window. A/C is loud in room but works fine. A dresser would be nice especially for the ladies since the only mirror is in the bathroom. A full length mirror would be ideal. They charge for parking $10.70 per day where other hotels it's free for their guest. I feel like we were being nickle & dimed. Breakfast was so so in a small cramped room. Staff were very nice and friendly. They have a pool which looked nice but cramped.

Pretty nice place - Very close to the beach and the amenities of Deerfield Beach.

I stayed in the Comfort Inn Oceanside from Wednesday, 9/25/2019 - Tuesday, 10/1/2019 in room 514.
My Best friend and I turned a work trip (for me) into a great experience and shared a two queen bed room on the 5th floor (corner room) of the Comfort Inn. We had a beach view from the window and were able to take advantage of the gym a few times (also took advantage of the pool and outdoor living space). I'm not a drinker, but the bar near the pool seemed to attract a few people from time to time.
The beds were comfortable and the pillows were nice. The floor of the room (laminate faux wood flooring) was not very clean and in the corners of the room there was large amounts of dust collected. The towels were very rough and not comfortable (hotel quality) to the touch. The towels at the pool (for that matter) were like pumice stones to the touch... For God's sake, get some new towels...
The breakfast area had a rule about not taking food or beverage out of that particular area... We broke that rule (I would take a banana and apple with me for a snack and a cup of coffee for the work day). The first night we were there, we were told by the bartender that we couldn't have our beverages (water and tea) at the pool area because there were no alcoholic beverages allowed in that area (but the way he did it was very "matter of fact" and aggressive). My friend wasn't having any of it and quickly opened up the plastic bag to to show that what we had was just water and tea. The bartender kind of shrugged it off as no big deal and "permitted us entry"... No worries, he was just doing his job, but instead of assuming that people were breaking the rules (there was a large sign indicating that no outside alcoholic beverages were allowed in the pool area), maybe ask the question of the patrons and what beverages they had instead of immediately saying "You can't have that/ those out here".
Comfort Inn also charges you $10.70 per day for parking.
I would stay again, but really because of the rate difference between Comfort Inn (less $$$) and the competitors in close proximity (way more $$$).
