Comfortable stay

by Taryn P

Stayed one night to be near to an event. Room was decent, but cramped with 2 beds and a giant wardrobe. Bathroom was not clean - at least not swept/vacuumed with previous guests hair everywhere. All in all a decent stay for the price - free breakfast was very average.

Old, worn, noisy, and a bit dirty

This Comfort Inn is right by the 401. My room faced the highway and a bright orange sign that shone around the edges of the curtains that had to be kept closed for privacy. The window had to be kept slightly open for ventilation because the old, old heating/cooling system sounded like a hurricane. Consequently, the highway noise was constant. There were families with young children staying, and they were allowed to run the hallways making a lot of noise up to about 9:30pm. There were a few long black hairs on the bathroom floor when I checked in, although the floor was clean for my second day. The carpet is old, worn and looked dirty. It's an older property and building that needs updating. Overall, it was a convenient location for what I needed to do, but not the the standard I expected.
