Overview

This luxury resort is set on a golden-sanded stretch of the beautiful beach, and describes itself as “specifically designed to pamper, relax, and inspire.” Whether you’re enjoying a massage, lounging by the infinity pool, eating organic dishes at The Wave Kitchen & Bar, or taking advantage of the onsite water sport rentals, you’ll be able to make the most of your vacation, however you love to spend it. The resort is geared more toward couples, but children are welcome — just make sure to book a room with double beds instead of the king that tends to come standard.

Very Disappointed!

by sandymacauda

It started the moment we pulled up to the hotel. The door man/valet told my husband we may not want to take our bags out of the car because our room may not be ready. I asked if they valet and he said we can park the car ourselves. We took our bags out anyway - if room not ready we could change and go to pool or grab lunch. Our room was ready and after checking in we went to the south tower - 2nd floor ocean front. Our room was nice. The problem with the south tower is there's no way to go to lobby and leave the premises without going outside past pool area. The pool is between both towers and its a wind tunnel. The tile is always wet and I was afraid I'd slip. It was raining and I was dressed up to go out for the night. I was not happy having to go outside past the wind tunnel and in the rain. I just don't like the construction of the hotel. I asked if there was anyway to get to the south tower without having to go outside and was told no. I love the Friday night bartender and Dallas who works on the beach setting up the chairs for guests. I also paid $500 for a Friday night. This is way to much to pay for this hotel. Go down the street to the Vero Beach Club - its beautiful.

Nice but....

Went for the endless mimosas & Bloody Mary brunch. New math means endless equals two even though we were staying there, not driving, and looking to just relax by the water. Staff was very nice, amenities good and site was very clean and well kept. However this was not a $19.99. brunch. It was, all in, around $50/pp and the given that drinks were poured out of pitchers along with the fact that, with the restaurant was mostly empty, we couldn’t get a refill is unacceptable for the money spent.
