This relaxed hotel is in a surprisingly quiet area right off the interstate and only a few miles from downtown Lubbock. It’s a cozy family-friendly hotel, with spacious suites that will comfortably fit a large family. Their biggest suite has three queen beds spread out over two large bedrooms, with space enough for a crib or rollaway. Every suite comes with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Kids will love the heated indoor pool and hot tub, and everyone will feel full each morning with the hotel’s free hot “Be Our Guest” breakfast. Other amenities include a fitness center, laundry service, and free wi-fi.
The Country Inn & Suites is located in the heart of Lubbock. There are several casual restaurants within walking distance, but you’re close enough to downtown to take advantage of the unique shops and eateries there. Be sure to stop in at the Buddy Holly Center, a museum and visual arts center dedicated to celebrating the life and music of Lubbock’s own music legend. Nearby is the expansive Mackenzie Park, home to Joyland Amusement Park, with its collection of classic carnival kids’ rides, and the ever popular Prairie Dog Town, where cute critters have been running free for 80 years. A few miles down the road, on the campus of Texas Tech University, is the National Ranching Heritage Center, which houses a fascinating collection of buildings from the old west, including dugouts, log cabins, a one room schoolhouse, and a train depot. With its convenient location and huge multi-bedroom suites, the Country Inn & Suites is a great option for your family vacation to Lubbock.

The lack of maintenance in the building is evident. Pending rooftop at the entrance, humid smell in the room, filtration in the ceiling, stains in the bathroom, wholes in the wall, dirty microwave and fetid odor in the parking lot. I really enjoyed the check out until my credit card was charged twice 2 days after.
Flight delayed and didn't get into hotel until 3:30am. The lady who checked me in was extremely rude and didn't even ask me for identification, CC, or my Corporate Travel card. The next day when checking out there was a balance on my account and was told its no big deal. A day later my co-worker received a nasty phone call stating that she needs the CLC card info and needs to get paid for the rooms we stayed in. Your hotel needs a major lesson in customer service.
Rooms were ok, but could be cleaned a little better. I would no recommend this hotel to anyone.
