I’m adding the second star only because the lady that checked us in was pretty nice.
I have stayed in many Hyatt hotels, especially Hyatt Place’s and I’ve never seen anything like this. Shortly after checking in, I try to turn on the tv and the battery cover is missing and the batteries fell off. That was the first no-no. Secondly, I notice a blonde strand of hair on the pillow. My friend and I both have black hair. That was disgusting because it made me question if this was a strand of hair from another guest or maybe just the housekeeper’s, or if the pillow shams were not replaced at all. Then, finding a collection of dust on the clock. After my friend calls the check in lobby, they offered us to move. We asked that they come and check what we were talking about because had it just been the remote or the broken tile in the bathroom, we would have let it slide. But the blonde hare on my pillow was too far. The lady how came up was barely apologetic or could have cared less. Again, she offered to move us to a “clean” room, to which by then we are THIS room should have been cleaned and what made them think the other room was going to be clean. We did end up moving but we almost just wanted to leave the hotel.

Very central and great customer service

This was the conference hotel for a conference we just attended. It was very easy to get there from the airport. The rooms were great and the front desk and valet customer service were fantastic. You need to pay for parking. It was $16 per day or $17 per day if you did valet. Do the valet! Very quick to get access to your car. They had a breakfast that came with your room. It was not your average continental buffet. It was amazing but took a little time, especially when you have over 100 people attending for a conference. Give yourself some extra time in the morning ... it will be worth it! Try the vanilla nut oatmeal! Yum!
