Overview

This is a sister property to Discovery Lodge that offers more rental units for the budget traveler and also a unit for rent with a full-sized kitchen. The rooms are clean and well looked after, and the décor is fun and authentic. The owners also have a handful of clean, upgraded and retro rooms to fit every budget. “Be sure to look or ask for a retro bathroom if you’d like to save $20-plus per night or if you want a more updated stay,” the owner suggests. This is niche and fun for the right family.

Great little place to stay

by Lauren S

The Coyote Mountain Lodge was a great place to stay. I stayed in Estes Park over Elk Festival weekend, so it was a busy time in Estes Park. The location of the Lodge is great, not too far from downtown or the National Park. The room was small, but
very comfortable. There was plenty of parking and beautiful views of the mountains. There was a good complimentary breakfast as well. Would definitely recommend a stay there if you're in Estes Park.

Cute Place!

We stayed here for a night and we loved it! The rooms were so cute and the lobby was just as nice! The room was clean and comfortable, but it was so hot in there! There wasn’t a thermostat that we could find so we turned the AC on to counter the heater. The parking lot is a little small for a larger pickup but other than that no complaints! The beds were really comfortable and the whole room just felt inviting. We had 3 dogs and they allowed all 3 to stay, there was a nice grassy area right outside our room for them to stretch and do their business. And, in the morning when we were leaving, we saw a little herd of about 6 elk right behind the main office. Loved this place! We will be back!
