Overview

The small Creekside Lodge & Conference Center offers big incentives for families looking for a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious and can fit up to four adults with ease. There is a golf course on the property as well as children-friendly activities and a pool and hot tub. Breakfast comes free with each stay here, as does parking. There is a lake right outside of the hotel, where kids will be able to go fishing with you or even kayaking; kayak rentals are available at the hotel, and the concierge will be happy to arrange a rental for you. A shuttle bus service is a great option for families on the go, and when you’re ready to wind down, you’ll enjoy the use of the free high speed Wi-Fi.

Business meeting

Was there for a business meeting/conference in early January '19. Stayed 2 nights. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Although I wasn't able to take advantage of the lake I'm sure avid boaters and water sports fans would really enjoy this spot.The downside is there is no restaurant of bar on premise and due to location the surrounding area has limited selection.

What a Gem

I happened upon this place while looking for a last minute lodging for a football weekend. I am so glad we did. The place is so nice! Our room was right on the water. I hate that we checked in late and only stayed one night and didn't get to enjoy it. This only means that we will definitely will go back! The room we had was a Queen Deluxe which was in a separate building than the lodge itself. Loved it! My 14 year old son and his friend also liked it. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom roomy with enough towels for everyone, and the room was so spacious! We were upstairs and the balcony looked out over the water. Coffee make, small frig and microwave. As I mentioned, we loved it and will certainly be back with & without the kids.
