Overview

Calling this a “resort” may be pushing it — more like a country inn; however, this condo lodging run by Wyndham offers a great place for families to stay in spacious accommodations within a stone’s throw of Crotched Mountain ski area in southern New Hampshire on the Vermont/Massachusetts border. The 12 one- and two-bedroom suites can sleep up to four and six people respectively. Décor is sparse, but amenities include full kitchens, laundry, fireplace and flat-screen TV with DVD player.

The property also includes an 18-hole golf course with an English-style pub that serves lunch and dinner. Although Crotched Mountain may be the main attraction, the resort is a great home base for leaf-peeping in the fall, as well as hikes up New Hampshire’s favorite mountain — Mount Monadnock.

Beautiful Place!!

Loved this area and the Resort was great. Food delicious in restaurant. Very comfortable rooms and the recliner was a plus along with the deck and hot tub. Good advice on what to see in area. Would love to come back in the fall.

Clean & adequate/away from comforts of town

The unit (we had a one bedroom) was fantastic. Well stocked with everything you can need- even dish soap, popcorn, 2 fireplaces and a comfortable recliner! The unit was nice and clean. Had access through 2 sets of doors to a patio. Outside was a bbq and hot tub to use. Also a community garden for you to access when cooking- tomatoes, herbs, just so nice. It's a bit quiet outside but the unit does not have good sound blocking from the other units. We had quiet neighbors but I could see how it could be louder if they weren't. The area is quite desolate- not what we are used to. There is a 20 minute ride to the nearest town with restaurants etc. Peterborough offers a great diner and good pizza too! Love the pizza shack. There is a golfcourse too if you play. Staff if friendly but there is a limited presence at the check in location which is in another building.
