I pulled up to the hotel yesterday to see the signage is down from the front. This hotel is closed for business until further notice. It would have been helpful if I had found this information before visiting the hotel, so I hope to help other travelers save themselves a trip!
Hotel was nice enough. Definitely showing a little wear, but comfortable and good location. It’s considered to be in historical Alexandria, but it is about 10 minute walk. We, however enjoyed the walk! We always felt safe and liked the quiet neighborhood. There was parking at the hotel, which we did the first day. After that, we did street parking. My husband and kids ate at the restaurant in hotel and enjoyed it. I know there were some negative reviews about staff, but everyone was nice that we encountered. We only had trouble communicating once with valet when we had a question about shuttle. Went to front desk and got our question answered. The shuttle was nice, although it didn’t start until the afternoon. We used it a few times to get to the free trolley. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return.
