This was our first trip to New York. We arrived early in the morning after about 24 hours of travel. Fantastically, our room was available immediately. I have to say we really appreciated that! Many thanks to the staff for facilitating this! We stayed for two weeks.
We were given an excellent room on a high floor. It was very quiet with the window closed. However we often kept it open so we could hear the noise of the city and get some fresh air. At night with it closed it was very easy to sleep. The bed is very cosy and we LOVE the large pillows! We will buy some when we get home!
The bathroom has a nice big shower and is cleaned each day by the excellent housekeeping team.
There are usb sockets next to the bed so we didn’t need our adaptors on those. I do note my hair clippers didn’t work very well with my Aussie adaptor in the bathroom. That might just be a voltage thing. Same with the wife’s hairdryer.
There is a small fridge where you can keep water and milk if you like.
The location of the hotel is superb. We used Penn Station for all our subway travel. It’s about 2 minutes away. Also it’s an easy walk to Times Square, Hudson Yards and Hell’s Kitchen.
We didn’t do this, but if staying for some time I’d ask them to take the desk chair out so there is more room to get between the bed and the desk.
The bar was mostly good and was excellent sitting with the doors open near the footpath. On the first night we had an excellent meal and drinks. On the second night the service wasn’t particularly fast. We didn’t use the bar for the rest of the trip but it definitely gets busy.
Overall this is a great place to stay for a long period of time. The staff are all inviting and we will definitely stay here again!

This hotel was excellent with very friendly professional staff.
The location is great, only a few blocks from Penn Center Train Station, Times Square and the Javits Convention Center.
The room was modern, perhaps a recent upgrade, and quiet for being in the heart of Manhattan.
Anyone can have a nice building and clean rooms, but the staff are what makes the Hotel special. This hotel understands this !
