Overview

This is a darling choice in Carbondale; the name might give that away. The Inn keepers/owners are Kelley and Jon Amdur, and their passion about design, good food, luxurious beds and mountain adventure is reflective in the thoughtful décor and architecture of the Inn that they purchased in 2016. There is breakfast each morning for guests, and a full-service hot meal on weekends prepared by John. Weekdays are grab and go.

The Inn has several off-street parking spaces and the Inn has several bikes for free or to rent to cruise around Carbondale. The Inn offers free Wi-Fi and Comcast TV service, plus DVD players in every room. A great option for families up to five is the Upstairs Suite, with two queen beds, a kitchenette (small fridge and microwave), full bath and a separate sunroom with a sleeper couch and chairs. This room also has private access to a large deck with views over the back yard and the open space along the Rio Grande Trail. It’s really about the service. The owners on very hands on, they make restaurant reservations for you, it’s very personalized service. You are on the Rio Grande Trail and you are stone’s throw from everything at this downtown Carbondale location.

Colorado trip

We loved the Dandelion Inn. The bunk room was very comfortable for us & our grandson. The location is convenient to the shops & restaurants in downtown Carbondale. Kelley & Jon are great hosts. We would definitely stay at the inn again.

I was visiting a friend in Carbondale and it didn't work out to stay at their place so we called Dandelion Inn last minute for availability. Kelley was amazing and hooked us up. Great little place and she treated me like a long lost friend. Excellent service. Not luxurious (if you want that go to Aspen) but great and homey place.
