TripAdvisor Rating

Built in 1989, the Dockside Inn resembles a Victorian inn, fitting beautifully into the landscape that is Oak Bluffs. While intimate, the inn’s 17 guestrooms and five apartment suites welcome families and even their pets. The inn provides beach chairs and towels to its guests, as well as a reading and DVD library and Wii games. Apartments are equipped with dishes and pots and pans to use for cooking in the efficiency kitchen that includes a refrigerator, stove, toaster and microwave. Apartments are outfitted with sofa beds, with the largest apartment, the Sail Loft, offering a queen, twin and full-size beds, as well as a private porch and rooftop deck.

This is how all hotel's should be

by rnhunt

First, the hotel was extremely helpful in moving our reservation forward a day, Without this we would have been unable to come over to Martha's Vineyard owing to a storm which was moving in.

A very warm and welcoming hotel with nice sitting areas over looking the dock and a great hot tub out the back. The solarium had snacks and nice coffee throughout the day, including some ace chocolate balls and also ice cream. Staff very helpful. If we every come over to the vineyard again - we are staying here!!!

Situated a short stroll from the ferry terminal this would be an idea base for exploring Martha's Vineyard. Recommended without any reservation whatsoever. Good internet as well.

Charming inn

We stayed in room 33, with 2 queen sized beds. The room was clean, comfortable, and convenient to Oak Bluffs shopping and activities. The day we were supposed to arrive, a subtropical storm hit the area, cancelling all ferry service, so we were unable to stay on our first night, but still got charged for it. That was a disappointment.
