Built in 1989, the Dockside Inn resembles a Victorian inn, fitting beautifully into the landscape that is Oak Bluffs. While intimate, the inn’s 17 guestrooms and five apartment suites welcome families and even their pets. The inn provides beach chairs and towels to its guests, as well as a reading and DVD library and Wii games. Apartments are equipped with dishes and pots and pans to use for cooking in the efficiency kitchen that includes a refrigerator, stove, toaster and microwave. Apartments are outfitted with sofa beds, with the largest apartment, the Sail Loft, offering a queen, twin and full-size beds, as well as a private porch and rooftop deck.

I rate the Dockside Inn five stars. This hotel is very clean with lots of amenities. My husband and I travel a lot and have never had a monogramed wash cloth for removing makeup. They have an amazing snack room that's available until 10:00 p.m. The courtyard is very comfortable for reading, etc. as well as the rooftop deck. The owner and staff are very friendly and professional. Looking forward to staying there in 2020.
Our group stayed at the Dockside Inn and it was just wonderful. It was within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and beaches. It is even close to the ferry. The place was very clean and well kept. Overall, it was just a great place to stay and we wished we could have stayed longer. Logan really helped us and helped make our family reunion very enjoyable.
