Situated on 27 acres, this DoubleTree Resort was formerly Springmaid Beach Resort. This relatively well-hidden gem, tucked into Myrtle Beach’s back pocket, is the perfect family vacation resort. Located on the south end of Ocean Boulevard, the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Myrtle Beach Oceanfront is a quieter, slower-paced way for families to experience what Myrtle Beach is all about.
With the renovation to the resort came new accommodations to its 492 guestrooms, including all new furnishings, carpeting, window treatments and linens. And every bathroom features new lighting, fixtures, granite counter tops, enclosures and more.
Featuring two onsite restaurants, six pools, two lazy rivers, a fishing pier, an 18-hole miniature golf course, a fitness center, a quarter mile of beautiful sandy beach, free wireless internet and more, this 27-acre resort has more than enough to keep the average family entertained. But just in case, guests are right next to Myrtle Beach State Park, Springmaid Pier and are mere minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach’s famous Grand Strand.

I read some reviews and I have to tell you that I experienced nothing but 100% satisfaction at this property, every single staff member at the front desk was amazing, property clean and the rooms are amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to somebody else in a minute. Denise is incredible, Kudos to Eileen for a well trained staff..
It was just ok. Nothing to write home. My ocean view was looking outside my balcony at the swimming pool ????.
Breakfast was fine. Food at the bar was delicious.
Lots of stains on the carpet & my refrigerator didn’t work.
Went for a conference hoping they don’t pick this location next year.
Here are the photos.
