Wedding in the middle of the hotel

by Luisaggie

Everything was going great, until the last night of our stay when the hotel decided it was a good idea to allow a wedding party in the middle of the hotel’s gardens. I want to estimate that 80% of the rooms were affected by having the loudest music from 8pm to 2am. The manager should be simply fired for this, a hotel meant to be for families and to rest became the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed. Our 7 month old baby could not sleep (obviously me and my wife couldn’t either).

We were excited to come back until the last night when our vacation was completely ruined. As I mentioned above, general manager of the hotel should be fired due to this outmost mistake that affected so many families like ours. We are never coming back.

Dy/night pass Dreams Top Shelf

by Jeff C

Stayed in Huatulco last Winter 2019. Purchased a day pass and spent the afternoon/ evening at Dreams. We stayed at Dreams Hotel 11 years, and now we rent a Condo and stay the whole Winter in sunny Huatulco.
We often visit the place that we enjoyed when we came to Huatulco. We come to Dreams quite a few times while we are in Huatulco.
Every year that we spend a day at Dreams is a real treat for us. Everybody there does his or her job, and makes being there a joyful experience. You cannot beat this place and will again be in Huatulco starting on December 31st. 2019 for the Winter.

This review was from one of the last visits to Dreams in March of 2019. We had a great time, especially seeing some of the people that make that such a great place.

First we started up at the front desk saying hello to one of the managers, who is a good friend of ours Diego Mercadillo. He is very pleasant to talk to and does a very good job at what he does. He is the rooms division Manager and is well liked by the employees that work there.

One of our favorite restaurants at Dreams is the Himitsu or Japanese restaurant. Boy oh boy what a well ran restauratnt. Everybody runs around there and you cannot beat the service or the food!!!!! I watch what is going on there and I think why that restaurant runs so smooth is the manager there. His name is Genner and he really hustles all the time. He Knows what to do and and is constantly running around there helping out.

All the employees at Dreams seem very happy there and make it a pleasure to visit there. It seems like home when we go there, and do our part to take care of the help by tipping them whenever we can.

Ok enough for now, can't wait to go back there. We reccomend Dreams highly and have sent several people to stay there, and also for day passes.

Family Activities

Pools

There are multiple outdoor pools for all guests to enjoy. The activity pool is the main pool where all the daily activities take place and music is always playing. Volleyball and other games can be found here, and the hotel's Entertainment Team is always keeping the energy up. There is a family pool where many of the kids can be found and a shallow pool, which is ideal for younger kids. Two adult pools can also be found at the resort for parents who may be seeking some quiet time.

Numerous lounge chairs and umbrellas surround all of the pools and pool towels are provided. The pools are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Beach

Families will love to spend time on the white-sand and calm ocean waters. The long beach is located on Tangolunda Bay, so the waters are calm most days. Parents receive a pager in case of emergencies while a child is at the kids' club.
