A half-hour drive from Chestnut Mountain, through bucolic countryside, this sprawling, luxury resort with a 6,000-square-foot spa has a wide range of lodging options, from single rooms to six-bedroom homes.
Eagle Ridge is known for its 63 holes of golf and its spa, but in the winter, the golf course is opened for cross-country skiing. It’s a postcard-perfect setting for cross-country enthusiasts. After a day of skiing, take a dip in the indoor pool, and enjoy the sauna, steam room, and maybe even the fitness center. Kids will also enjoy sledding, skating and cross-country skiing in the winter and tennis, volleyball and bicycling in the summer. There are three onsite restaurants ranging from a pizza place with an ice cream counter to upscale dining.
Families have plenty of lodging options at Eagle Ride. The main lodge guest rooms have either one king or two queen beds. Larger families or multiple families traveling together fit well into one of the private villas or homes, ranging from one bedroom up to six bedrooms. All the homes come with full kitchens, fireplaces, outdoor grills and washers and dryers.

Overall, the food at the wedding was so so. The soup wasn’t hot. The sauce on the pasta was too little for the dish. My mother in law’s pork was so over cooked, it was hard. The food we’ve had at the restaurant and lounge is always good, so it didn’t make sense that the reception dinners weren’t up to scale.
I was extremely pleased with the villa and all it had to offer. It was very clean and fit our needs as a group very well. The view was so beautiful and we were able to enjoy watching deer play outside of our window in the morning. The front desk clerk was so friendly and welcoming. I cannot wait to come again and get to enjoy the other amenities that are offered.
