Stolen makeup brushes

by Camden15

My husband and I stayed here two nights during memorial weekend. Upon checking out and leaving the hotel, we were 4 hours away when I realized I had left my makeup brushes in the room. 1million percent sure, I would have betted my life on it. My husband called the desk clerk Katie, and asked her to check the room for the makeup brushes. These brushes were Jaclyn hill Morphe master collection brushes that cost $200!!! Katie was the first to check the room, and claims they were not in there. My husband hangs up and tells me what she said, I make him call again (we called at least 5 times) Katie says she is sending someone else to check the room also, and that house keeping has not cleaned so the room is exactly like it was when we left. As you can expect Katie says “they’re not there.” so I called myself begging and crying about my makeup brushes, I even told them I would be leaving a bad review. The manager sent someone to read the lock on the door to see if anyone else has entered the room after we left. No one but Katie, and the other worker has been in the room. That right there is enough information to tell me who has the brushes ... never have I heard from these people again, and never want to. I would NEVER in my life even stay at ANY Econolodge again. Liars, and thieves. No thanks. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Comfortable and clean

by AYsTraveler

Upon arrival, the hotel front desk lady was very friendly. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Was it outdated? Yes, but you get what you pay for. The breakfast was surprisingly good for an Econolodge. FYI - All rooms have outside entrances. Front door was a little funny to operate. You have to wait a second before trying to open the door. Besides that, it was a pleasant three day stay.
