We stayed here for a Hockey Tournament this past weekend. The hotel itself is not in amazing shape. It is pretty dated, a few spots of water damage, and few amenities. The shower curtains could be replaced as well as the bath mats as they were Well used and in need of replacing. The rooms were clean. The free breakfast was pretty limited in options. mostly carbs and bananas and apples but it is better than nothing at all.
The staff was very friendly helpful and patient with our team. The pricing was great and they even gave most of us a discount the day after we checked out because the weather was too poor to drive home in. I cannot say enough about the staff here. They went above and beyond for our crew. They even let them play mini sticks in one of the rooms that one would normally have to rent out to use. We even called later in the day after we had checked out to rent out a conference room as we had a huge gap between games and had nowhere to go to kill time. They gave us the conference room free of charge that we had rented out the night before.
the restaurant attached to the hotel was great as well. the food was impeccable. I definitely recommend the burger. It is topped with real cheese too! They are so flavourful and juicy. Best burger I have ever had. We ate there the Friday we arrived and everyone had a great experience. There was live music and the food was amazing! We ordered a bunch of platters and salads for our team on Sunday and they were so friendly and quick with the order. A+ service all around.
This is not a luxury hotel.It is a budget hotel so make sure your expectations match what is your paying for.
If you have a sports team, This is the hotel for you! you get way more than you pay for.
