Units present private balconies, living rooms, full kitchens, washers, dryers and DVD players. Walk-out condos display pathways to children’s play areas. The grounds are covered in tropical gardens with two picturesque pools (one with a waterfall). A children’s playground is also on the premises, offering slides and monkey bars. Parents can visit the fitness center if staying in shape is part of the vacation plans. Better yet, take a parasailing voyage! Edgewater gives guests free beach service. Tiki Bar & Grill is operated by Buster’s restaurant, offering light fare and beverages onsite. Nearby, families can visit the many golf courses in the area. Many children’s and teen’s activities are arranged by Edgewater and by nearby restaurants. Don’t miss Big Kahuna’s Water Park.

We were very disappointed in our condo

by BeachBumsDallas

Our condo, #414, was disappointing. Usually in condo rentals in other places, there is a starter set of supplies at least for move in. There was toilet paper and bar soap for the bathrooms, but only some dishwasher liquid packets in the kitchen. Not a single paper towel, small liquid dish soap, sponge, nothing.

When we went to make dinner, the stove burners did not all work. We called the office but nobody showed up even after 24 hours. We were able to get it working ourselves. Eventually maintenance came up and told us the stove was not really safe and needed to be replaced. We used it anyway of course because we had no alternative. Don't understand why the owner put in a nice new washer and dryer and granite counter tops and left an old, defective stove.

The kitchen frying plans were warped and many of the dishes / utensils / glasses required washing because they had dried food on them from the prior renters. Eventually, housekeeping brought us some new frying pans.

The footboard of the master bedroom was filthy and sticky.

AC worked well, but at night when it was quiet it was VERY noisy in the master BR when it came on - enough to wake me up.

The condo did not have and the management did not provide beach towels - that's a first for us for a beachfront rental, and we had to go out any buy some. So although they provide us of beach chairs and umbrellas, no beach towels provided "because people will take them". Other places we've rented on beaches - I guess those owners don't think you're staying there to steal stuff.

We didn't see any other units, so we can't speak to the rest of the place.

Here is what we liked:

The beach itself was very nice - beautiful white sand as all the beaches are in the Emerald Coast. The location of this place is good and there is ample parking. The patio of the unit was large with a great view and large table if you wanted to eat outside.

Terms & Conditions:
The no refunds for any reason other than evacuation and the stuff you have to sign waiving any responsibility from the place but putting everything on you is another reason why we would not stay here again in any unit. There are too many other options.

Edgewater sucks

by Johnnyboi69

Edgewater sucks don’t go here it is terrible if you are bringing family don’t go here. Edgewater will not let you throw football at all or anywhere accept for the beach. They tow cars that are in van parking only. And Security will shine lights at your balcony and wake you up and they do a whole search around the whole place checking for kids. Pool now close at 8pm when it’s still light sometimes this is possibly the worst place to stay so don’t go here
