Love this hotel!

The Element is an upscale casual modern hotel. They have A GREAT MANY AMENITIES. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and accommodating. The area is constantly growing. You'll find some good eateries in walking distance.

Poor service response

by CarterTucker

I have stayed at the Element probably a dozen times or more. It has been my go-to in Fargo.

Most recent stay was room 133 which had banging pipe noises all night. When I mentioned it at checkout that it interfered with my night’s sleep, I was told it was a known issue in that particular room and something with the water pipes in the wall but offered no apology. When I asked where I might notify more formally of the complaint, I was told that I might get an email survey. I was frustrated by the noise and ruined night sleep but more frustrated by the lack of acknowledgement or apology for this known issue. The room should be blocked off until it is resolved so as to not have other guests deal with this known issue.

There are some newer hotels in Fargo that I should perhaps try on my next visit.
