Need Lessons in Customer Service

by waup3can

Telephoned the hotel directly, spoke with Cynthia, regarding shuttle service to/from airport and cruise ship. (The entire phone call could have been avoided had this been addressed on their WEB site). She indicated that there was a $9.00 per person shuttle service as the hotel hires a 3rd party vendor. We have 3 small children traveling with our party, and I asked if there was a charge for them. Her attitude and altogether nastiness in justifying this fee gave me enough reason to cancel our reservations. She abruptly hung up after making this remark. Perhaps, it was a bad Monday morning, or perhaps, Cynthia needs more lesson in "hospitality."

Avoid this place

In the E Spot Restaurant, a water glass was served with a chip and a crack. Later, a glass of wine was ordered and delivered in a filthy glass with a fresh lipstick mark on it. Asked for help with A/C. No help came. Front desk staff curt and impatient. Overpriced.
