Great hotel with a great niche but even if you're not into exercising it's a great hotel for those working or a sexy night out. I came down for the Managers Night before grabbing dinner there. The burger was tasty.
Even in Rockville, MD is clean, and the staff appears to genuinely care about the staff, at least to a point.
Pros: Clean, spacious room with workout equipment in the room and a well-stocked gym next to the lobby.
Cons: Charged for a breakfast that is far worse than the free versions at the average Days Inn and Comfort Inn, let alone other hotels at this price. It wouldn't bother except that the charge is $15. Also, in-room coffee was not replenished, even when asked. Told that I'm "better off" paying for a cup in the lobby. Again, this is free as even the most basic, inexpensive hotels.
Upshot: OK hotel if you aren't concerned about amenities other than gym equipment in your room. My colleagues who stayed at other, similarly priced hotels in the area said that Even is the best place in a pinch, or if you have work within walking distance. Otherwise, there are much better options.
