A nice hotel to stay at when visiting Roatan, if you are on business purpose easy access to Town, clean and nice rooms , restaurant serve great food , reasonable Prices. Highly recommend it, whats else can i say its Nice no doubts, third time staying at this place, and noncomplaints, friendly staff.
The Executive Inn in Roatan is actually a very nice property, if you use Honduran standards to rate it. If you are going to use American standards as a yardstick, you may see my overall rating as inflated. Overall, the rooms are nice, not luxurious, but clean. The beds are slightly stiff, but then most beds in Honduras come on the firm side. It seems the softer downey mattresses havn't quite made it here yet. The property comes with an outside pool, and a convenient bar an restaurant. The menu isn't fancy, but again by Honduran standards is more then the normal fare found locally.
Credit cards are widely accepted in Honduras, and although you may find the occasional business not taking them, the Executive can gladly accommodate most. As in most hotels, reservations are almost a necessity and although the Executive is no exception, most of the time they are not necessary here on the island. That is unless you are going to visit during Easter week, locally known as Semanas Santa week. At that time the island style pace picks up a few notches, and most accomodations are booked weeks in advance.
Pricing is in the medium range and depending on the luxury you have payed for in the past, can feel like a bargin. For an overall genuinely nice place to stayHonduran style, you can't beat the Executive Inn. Overall I rate it four out of five Honduran stars, a three by American standards!
