The Fairmont is an excellent hotel. It’s well located, beautifully appointed for the luxury or business traveler.
I was most impressed by “Tanner” the front desk manager. He’s a first class gentleman who has wonderful tact to work with an unhappy customer!
Priceline booked us into the hotel. When we arrived we learned that Priceline booked a room for us that wasn’t available due to 100% occupancy. I wasn’t happy at all after making a long flight. In fact, I was angry.
Here comes Tanner. I can’t say thank you enough. He attempted to locate another room for us at another hotel but all were booked. He was able to open up space, upgraded us to a suite and kept his calm under pressure.
We travel the world often. In all our years of travel to 5 star resorts I’ve never met anyone in the hotel business, our outside of it, that has customer service capacity at his level.
We’ll be back to enjoy the hotel again.
Thank you Tanner! I am sure you remember me! You’re the best!
Each and every time I stay here reminds me of great trips to Europe. Fine dining, good spa, and great staff combine to help me relax and enjoy this great city even more. The brunch is not to be missed. Nice music at happy hour. Very comfortable rooms through the hotel.
