A Fairmont property...fantastic stay, as expected!

by YYC_JustinC

I lived in Vancouver for a year, and looked forward to a weekend for a conference as well as a weekend away with my wife. The conference was booked at the Pacific Rim, and the hosting body secured a room for us for two nights.

Our flight in arrived quite early, and the hotel was able to accommodate us with an early check-in thanks to my LeClub Accor membership. The room was in great shape, modern, with the bells and whistles of push-of-a-button control of the blinds, drapes and lights. The room was in excellent shape, comfortable and modern in design.

The meals provided by the hotel for the day long conference were absolutely delicious and catered towards omnivores and pescatarians. My wife and I had in-room dining a few times, also very delicious and timely.

My wife and I made use of the Willow Stream Spa facilities each, no complaints there. Note that there is a day-use fee on weekdays/weekends if you are not having a spa treatment, this is no different than other spas at other Fairmont resorts we have stayed at.

The staff were all very polite and helpful, typical superlatives for a Fairmont property. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The only downside is the noise - the sirens of firetrucks and police cars as well as the engine noise of more aggressive vehicles was quite loud, even from the 15th floor facing away from W. Georgia St.

Close to perfect experience

We stayed here the last night of our two week trip through Vancouver, Seattle and San Francisco. It was a perfect ending to our trip.
Super venue. Most attentive team. The service is excellent. Rooms are spacious and ours had a good view out onto Canada Place and the bay.
Wonderful experience from checking in to cocktails in the Lobby Lounge, the tasty breakfast all the way to checking out again. This is how a hotel experience should be.
