Overview

Located next to the Creekside Gondola in Creekside Village, south of Whistler, First Tracks Lodge is a sister property to Legends and Evolution. Offering ski chalet charm and ski-in, ski-out access to the gondola, this upper-range property operates as a full-service hotel, but offers 84 self-catered apartments, so some of its amenities, such as the check-in desk, reside next door at Legends. Because it’s self-catered, the lodge has a quiet, homey vibe. Apartments range from one to four-bedroom layouts for groups of all sizes. All include sofa beds in the living room, in-suite washer and dryer and full kitchens with full fridge, stove, dishwasher and more. Families with little ones can request playpens and high chairs. The lodge features a large outdoor pool, hot tub, steam room, covered barbecue grilling area, fitness room and spacious lobby with a fireplace and library. Just steps away from the lodge, find family-friendly restaurants for all palates in the village.

Family get together

by jameskinnear39

The check-in and the readiness of the resort made our experience a very welcomed one. Not exactly cheap by standard comparisons, but when you have to gather 9 family members under one unit it certainly fits the bill. Our unit being on the mountainside made the stay a memorable one, despite some wet weather. Nevertheless, we all tried out the pool area, and the pool heated waters made it seem like summer. The only negative I can think of was being billed for overnight parking for the 3 cars we traveled in when free parking is available a short distance away.

Perfect spot at Creekside

by Doug A

We stayed In the off-season just after Labor Day weekend so pretty quiet and no lines anywhere but perfect blue skies all week.

Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple breakfasts and dinners. We also enjoyed the hot tub and use of the grill by the pool. Creekside has a great little grocery store, bakery and coffee shops (yes, one is a Starbucks) just a minute or two walk out the door. Easy to rent bikes there and bike or walk the trails to other shopping, lakes, etc. So not a problem to not be right in the village. Beautiful lodge! Great service. So impressed and we will be back!
