Fantastic Place to Stay in Sisters

by jovino2019

We came to Five Pines for the first time as a place to stay while I ran the Happy Girls Half Marathon. It was a fantastic experience. Super conveniently located in a beautiful setting, with extremely supportive staff and accommodations. Highly recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful!

We just stayed at FivePine for two nights, for the first time, and I guarantee it won’t be the last. It was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. I will admit I was a little worried about the “and conference center” part, thinking this could be a sprawling resort with impersonality and business, but I am happy to say that was not the case at all!

It was lovely. First of all, the romance cabin is great. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful setting in the trees. You can smell the pine. You can walk out into the cool, crisp mountain air. The cabins are very private and spaced widely enough apart. They’re beautifully decorated, very comfortable, spacious, and romantic.

The romance cabins have a little sunken tub next to the (gas) fireplace. We had no intention whatsoever of using the TV but if you’re interested in watching it, it’s HUGE (right over the fireplace) and they have a good collection of DVDs at the front desk. But just the fireplace and peace and quiet were enough for us.

Check-in and check-out were both quick and extremely pleasant. The staff here are top notch, as are the facilities. Very personable, helpful, friendly people.

Breakfast was included in the rate, a nice bonus, and they deliver it to your door, but you can also head down to the conference center building to have additional items like bagels, but you may be fine with everything you can order for delivery (pastries, juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs, fruit). The staff who assisted me at the conference center breakfast were terrific, very helpful.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, there are rocking chairs, checker table style wooden tables, and the bathroom is great! I love the double shower (two shower heads on opposite walls in one shower space), and those bath towels are something to write about. I’m serious, they are huge, fluffy, great bath towels. Heating and cooling worked really well, everything about our stay was extremely enjoyable.

And we didn’t even use some of the incredibly convenient amenities like the Sisters Movie House, the Three Creeks Brewery, or the spa.

Extremely pleased with our stay and will definitely return!
