Nice Hotel

by 1smartpitbull

we went around Halloweenand did a couples trip but plan on going back after the hotel is completely remodeled it's close to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens and still very nice in the midst of the remodel

Average with some minor annoyances

Front seat personnel and lobby are excellent. Rooms (especially 1st floor) need some major upgrades. This is a pet friendly hotel so if you are a light sleeper, try to avoid guest who have dogs who persistently bark throughout the night. We changed rooms due to dogs, smell and a spider in the bathtub. 3rd floor rooms were much better. Still had a spider in 3rd floor room but able to deal with it since it was our last night. Overall, stay was just average. If there were another better hotel with vacancy in the area we would stayed in an alternate hotel; unfortunately all hotels I called were sold out and this was the only hotel with vacancy due to late booking.
