Amazing Experience

Good hotel, restaurant's dinner menu was great and reasonable, amazing staff, very clean, kids loved the pool, felt like home. Will highly recommend this hotel and will surely book here next time we come to Barrie.

Very disappointing

by Yqrtravellerfromyyz

Over a year ago we selected this hotel as the place to stay for wedding guests. This past weekend the event happened and the quality of the stay was very disappointing.

I had booked adjoining rooms. One was adjoining but it didn’t connect to the other (227 and 229)!. I was told we would have a block of rooms. Instead we were peppered on various floors and at different ends of the hotel.

The bar was ill prepared for serving a few people. The rooms were an adequate size, but walls were paper thin and hockey kids were running and using battery cars in the halls as of 730 am.

Overall we paid the price of a 5 star hotel $179+ 23 local charge. I consider that price to be for a 4-5 star hotel. At best this hotel was 3.

I was very embarrassed we suggested out of town guests stay here.
