Just Okay

by fjon

This is an older motel that they are trying to bring up to date....nice, but it is still an old hotel.
The lobby is very well done and there are several conference rooms for meetings.
We had the buffet breakfast included and I would not waste $14.00 if I had to pay for it...go elsewhere!
There is both an indoor and outdoor pool which is nice. Tons of young kids splashing around. There is no lock on the outdoor pool and it seems as though the locals know this and come and use it.
Rooms are large and bed is comfortable. Not the cleanest room, but it sufficed. The air conditioner was loud and annoying and kept us up until we unplugged it. We mentioned it to one of the facility personnel and he responded: “yes, they are old and need replacing.”
Too many other options on the cape....

Horrible Smell in Room

by Amanda G

We were given a room that smelled disgusting and it was obvious the hotel was trying to disguise the odor with a plug in air freshener in an outlet right by the door. Both smells were so bad we couldn’t even stay in the room. It’s disappointing the hotel knew there was a foul odor and tried only masking the smell with something equally as gross. We were given a different room and despite its current “update” this hotel is very outdated and lacks WiFi that actually works. I would not stay here again as I question the safety of these rooms and negligence of the hotel by masking obvious issues.
