This is my second review of the Four Seasons Santa Fe. I visited in 2016 and absolutely loved this tucked away resort. Thanks to three airlines now flying non-stop from San Diego to Albuquerque, flights were cheap and I wanted to come back for a one-night getaway.
During my second trip to the resort, I discovered their wonderful spa and relaxation lounge, which is complimentary for guests staying at the hotel. There is a fantastic outdoor hot tub and steam room along with a locker room facility that felt recently redone.
The rooms at this hotel are wonderful! They are spacious, comfortable, and luxurious. The bathroom has heated floors and the shower is huge! My favorite feature is the wood burning fireplace. There is a fire butler you can call and they will start the fire for you.
The grounds of the hotel are lovely to stroll around, even on a cold day. Up in the main lobby/restaurant area are a firepit and several other cozy places to relax by a fire. On Saturday night, there was smores. Even in the rain, we were able to get some smores to take out there and the staff at the restaurant were so accommodating.
My partner was celebrating a birthday and the hotel sent a delicious dessert and a half bottle of New Mexico sparkling wine to celebrate - a wonderful touch! The food at the restaurant and for room service was also delicious. I remembered the chicken nachos from my first visit and ordering them via room service. They were the best nachos I had ever had. While no longer on the room service menu, they were available in the hotel bar/restaurant and we enjoyed them there. That is one confusing thing - the menus are different for the bar, restaurant, and room service. If something sounds tasty, there's a chance it's not available where you want to eat it. It seems like all the same kitchen. If you do go to the bar, take advantage of one of their fantastic happy hour specials.
You can use the Four Seasons app to order room service and other amenities. Because the hotel seems to attaract a non-millennial crowd, it probably does not get much use. We had to call to have them check it after we ordered blankets that never arrived and then room service that they would not have seen unless we had confirmed that we placed the order through the app. This is minor overall and the staff were very kind. They even granted a late check-out despite a large party coming in the next day.
Overall, this is one of my favorite Four Seasons properties, next to the FS Westlake Village, CA. The Four Seasons Santa Fe is relaxing, remote, and peaceful! I look forward to returning again!

Excellent customer service!
From the guest registration- housekeeping- spa- cocktail hour- dining.
Wine list could use an update as they were out of the wines we selected - but the wait staff made excellent alternate recommendations.
