We visited in March 2019 so it was during the off-season. We got an incredible deal to stay for 2 nights and 3 days. At the end of our trip, we found ourselves wishing we spent more time here than in Lisbon!

The hotel is truly picturesque and the area is very walkable. We felt safe walking around at night and found it just a short walk to get to restaurants like the Market.

It wasn't super busy while we were there but I figured it was likely due to the season. We spent one afternoon by the pool and enjoyed homemade Sangria from the pool bar. I can only imagine how fun it would be when it gets a bit warmed! My only regret is that we didn't stay here longer!

Also, we loved going to BJ's down the street for breakfast-- great lattes and pastries!

Fab apartments. Well equipped kitchen. Hob, microwave and plenty of cupboard space. Plenty crockery, cutlery and cookware enough for 4 even though we were a couple. Spacious lounge / dining room. Separate bedroom and spacious balcony. Fantastic use of bathroom space with walk in shower. Pool area kept amazingly clean and tidy every day and room cleaned every day, thank you Fatima for a great job. We were there at end of season, so I'm sure at high season with full occupancy it might be a bit noisy if you don't have children. But that is what holidays are about. The beach is 2 mins down the road. Excellent beach and you can walk for miles along the coast if you want to. We walked in to Albufiera several times and to the fishing port and harbour. Plenty of restaurants on the beach and particularly liked Vivaldos who will give you a card for 20% off after 6pm. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets near by. Food prices are very reasonable whether wanting snacks, English breakfasts or the fantastic Portuguese cuisine. The reception staff at Golden Beach are amazing and extremely helpful with so much information so you can ask them anything. We have been to the Algarve many times but these are the best apartments we have had.
