Great Suites and a Great Value 4+ Rating

by diroseusa

We’ve stayed at several suite hotels in the greater Burlington area, and Green Mountain Suites is at the top of our list. The kitchenette has all the basic necessities and the cutest little dishwasher, so cleaning up is easy if you decide to cook. With so many great restaurants nearby, we really don’t cook but it’s nice to be able to bring leftovers back to the room and the means to store and reheat later. It’s great having a separate bedroom. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of nice pillows, warm duvets and plush blankets. Best of all, our four-legged family members are welcome and comfortable too. The only minor disappointments were the clothes iron and board, which were chintzy, but I probably use them more than most. The hair dryer was kind of chintzy too; not very powerful so it takes longer than usual to do the job.

A truly exceptional hotel

The facility and the staff of this all-suites hotel are exceptional. The lobby area, where a buffet breakfast is served each morning and a dinner (with wine and beer!) is served Mon--Thurs evenings, is comfortable and inviting. The suites are spacious and well appointed, with full kitchens and comfortable furniture. The staff is friendly, courteous, helpful, and professional. We spent a weekend with extended family--grandparents, parents, children (ages 4 & 7). The kids loved the breakfast choices, and had a wonderful time in the indoor pool. The adults found the Thursday dinner perfectly fine, and the breakfast choices diverse enough to satisfy different tastes. A problem with a bathroom light switch was taken care of immediately. The hotel is a couple of miles from downtown, and within walking distance of a Trader Joe's, several restaurants, and an indoor mall. This is an ideal spot for a family stay.
