Overview

It’s a long drive, on a winding mountain road, but your family will be rewarded with the most amazing scenery in the Ashland area. The Green Springs Inn and Cabins are nestled on 140 acres of forested mountainside, 30 miles above the valley floor, with views that stretch out forever. It’s a great place for a larger family who wants to experience something special on their vacation.

The nine luxury cabins can sleep anywhere from two to six guests. Kids will love sleeping in a cabin loft, almost like camping out in the best tree house you can imagine. Parents will love the privacy, the views, the jetted tub, and the fact that there are no TVs anywhere to be found. These cabins all come with full kitchens, but you will want to spend most of your time on the spacious decks, where a BBQ awaits.

If you’re not in the mood to cook, the Green Springs Inn restaurant serves up home-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything here is family-owned and run, and it shows in the care shown to make guests feel at home. Most of the cabins are pet-friendly, so bring the dog. There are also trails throughout the property for when you want to take a walk in the woods. If you’re going to spend most of your vacation in Ashland itself, be warned that the 45-minute drive from your cabin to the downtown area can be a bit hairy on the narrow road.

Great Getaway! Just Wish We Had More Time

by Love2Vaca

My husband and I stayed here on a whim while passing through the area on our way to Crater Lake based on location and TA reviews. The property is a ways up a mountain, not convenient to anything "in town" but it was a beautiful location! We checked in at the restaurant with no issue. We were in lodge room 2 with king bed. The room was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, but no TV. I loved that! We mainly booked this room for the jetted tub on the back porch. There is an attached, screened in porch off the back of the room with a lovely jetted tub just big enough for two people. A little disappointed it was not a hot tub in that you had to fill it up each time you want to use it, and the jets barely worked. However, it was the warm up we needed on a cold night. We did eat dinner at the restaurant and had one of the best meals of our trip! We split the Cuban sandwich and it was awesome, along with a beer and a wine. Service was great and welcoming. Did not sleep as well as we'd like because every time there was movement upstairs it sounded like the building was collapsing, but I don't think there is anything you can do about that but bring earplugs. Being a week day, they did not offer breakfast in the morning, just to-go items, but there was a lot to chose from. This place was a great value and we see why it had such rave reviews. We enjoyed our stay and wish we had more time!

AMAZING!!!!

We rented the beautiful Agate Flat here and I only have wonderful things to say. The cabin was appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the outdoor tub, and the walking trail up to the lodge for dinner and breakfast. What a gem! Absolutely worth the scenic drive to come out of the main part of Ashland to this remote paradise. We are already planning our return! P.S. Dinner and breakfast at the lodge were amazing, and the entire resort is super comfortable for dogs!
