Overview

The Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa is a wonderful destination for families because it includes so many amenities for everyone, including multiple onsite dining options, an outdoor pool with spacious deck and cabanas for rent, poolside service and much more. There are over a half-dozen room options, but all rooms come standard with a 42-inch LCD Plasma TV, Bose radio/CD player with iPod adapter, laptop-sized safe, mini-bar, iron and ironing board, full-length mirrors and a work desk with a two-line phone and internet connection, offering everything you need for business or pleasure.

Connecting rooms are available. With a full-service salon, spa, fitness center and live entertainment, there’s so much. But, the best is still yet to come — there’s the Resort’s Kids Quest. This is designed to be a place where kids are physically and mentally engaged with age-appropriate play-events, helping them grow happily. There’s a movie room, arcade and shopping district for kiddos.

Reviews

Management was unacceptable. Their policies catered to the gamblers and not just vacationers.

When booking a room for our uncle's 80th Birthday my sister-in-law had done so online & then called back to confirm the room arrangements for two beds. They stated that they would note it. Upon arriving we found that they had put us in a room with 1 king bed. They stated that unless we could have given them a name of the person who gave her this notation they couldn't help us, but perhaps they could if we had that info. Obviously it was clear you had to show proof, otherwise pay more for an upgraded room that was greatly overpriced. There were two other parties that were having similar problems at that time - none of which to our knowledge got any satisfaction. We could have gone elsewhere, but would have been charged for the 1 night anyway, so she ended up having to sleep on a roll-away bed. Also when we went to dinner at 4:20 PM, we ate at a Mexican restaurant on the casino floor. There were perhaps 12 people eating at the time & we asked for a booth, which they told us were reserved with no signs posted on any. They were more than willing to give us a table. Needless to say they got an earful. The hostess at that point felt very awkward & relentlessly stated that she would give us a booth. When we left there were still 3 open booths. The bottom line is we will never go back to this place on pure principle, pricing & the ability of management to do their job.

No Need to Leave

Family of three stayed for four nights. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Noise outside of room was unheard. Bath was large and also had a large bathtub. No view for us, we looked into the street. Location was nice, shops and restaurants outside of the resort. Casino inside had non smoking areas. Lots of eating options inside along with a movie theater. Spa and pool area was very nice. Staff were friendly. My only complaint would be check in time was 5:00 pm. That's a bit late for hotels we frequent. Normally it's 3 pm. There was no reason to leave the resort if you didn't want to. Everything you need is on sight. Son and I took the free shuttle down to Mandalay Bay and walked a bit of the strip. I would stay again. We ate at the food court and in the café. All was good. We seen a couple movies and the theater was nice. They offer valet parking, but we parked for free in the garage and never had issues finding parking spots.
